City Slickers is a truly unique experience. Combining experienced runners with those just starting out to create a fully inclusive running group based in the heart of Nottingham city centre.
Forget everything you thought you knew about running clubs, the City Slickers group is the perfect welcoming environment for beginners and less-confident runners. Forget about pace, distance or anything else which puts you off exercise! We offer all the benefits of a running club but with a special focus on wider health, well-being and community.
Where and when does the group meet?
We meet every Tuesday outside Victoria Leisure Centre, Bath Street, Sneinton **New location from 22nd March** for a quick run-brief before a prompt 6.15pm start. There is some free on-street parking on nearby Robin Hood Street and Stonebridge Road.
What are the routes?
We take various routes around the city and local communities, highlighting different aims each week. Distances are determined by the ability of those in attendance and are normally based around the 5km mark.
